Description Rob Smith 2005-11-01 16:36:18 UTC
revdep-rebuild does not check in /usr/lib/misc/xscreensaver for packages that
may need rebuilt. In my case, rss-glx needed rebuild after a update of a lib.
revdep-rebuild did not search that directory.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

What version of findutils do you have installed?
Comment 2 Rob Smith 2005-11-02 08:40:38 UTC
sys-apps/findutils-4.2.25
Comment 3 Paul Varner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-02 11:39:07 UTC
I believe that this is a duplicate of Bug 111203, but to be sure please do the
following:

1. revdep-rebuild --ignore --keep-temp --pretend
2. Attach the file ~/.revdep-rebuild.1_files
3. emerge -av1 =sys-apps/findutils-4.2.24
4. revdep-rebuild --ignore --keep-temp --pretend
5. Attach the file ~/.revdep-rebuild.1_files
6. emerge -av1 =sys-apps/findutils-4.2.25 (optional)

I did the steps as asked, and yeah, it worked with find utils 4.2.24. I'm gonna
close this bug as a dup.

Thanks!
