Unfortunately, it's an either or situation. The suggestion from debian is to build both as seperate packages and let the user choose. I'm against just ditching gtk2 support, but I'm not sure if there is another way to have it work all around. I'll look into it, but for now, if you change the ebuild to not depend on gtk2 and change the --enable-gtk2 to --enable-x you can build it with X instead. I've changed the 3.15 ebuild to allow building against X. Be aware that doing this removes the gtk2 playback controls. |
