I am happy to announce the new 1.0 VultureNG release :

is the =dev-perl/DBD-SQLite-0.31 really necessary? couldn't be replaced with >=dev-perl/DBD-SQLite-0.31 ?

vultureng use 2.x sqlite database. AFAIK, only DBD-SQLite-0.31 is compatible.

we have 2 packages for DBD-SQLite (see http://www.gentoo-portage.com/s?search=DBD-SQLite):
  a) dev-perl/DBD-SQLite
  b) dev-perl/DBD-SQLite2
should I replace "=dev-perl/DBD-SQLite-0.31" with "dev-perl/DBD-SQLite2" ?

If you want to replace with DBD::SQlite2 I need to modify a file in the
bz2 (uri are dbi:SQLite2:dbname=... instead of dbi:SQLite:dbname=...) . I will change this in the next release of VultureNG but for now please keep =dev-perl/DBD-SQLite-0.31.

version bumped to 1.1 (latest version up to now). 

please consider using the submitted ebuild in your future releases.
