I can't see the build failure in all this, so could you please provide that. What you posted looks pefectly fine, including the non-harmful rmdir message actually the rmdir isn't harmless (or something else isn't)...that's the last line before (which I didn't put there at first as per the message itself =) this: rmdir: `/var/tmp/portage/openoffice-2.0.0/image': Directory not empty !!! ERROR: app-office/openoffice-2.0.0 failed. !!! Function src_install, Line 212, Exitcode 1 !!! (no error message) !!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message. Actually I get the rmdir message too and it works, believe me ;) But I think I know now, what happened here, I accidently messed up the ebuild for a short time while trying to fix another bug, and you seem to have had the bad luck to get the faulty version during your last sync, sorry for that. (this is already fixed now) With FEATURES="noauto" ebuild /usr/portage/app-office/openoffice/openoffice-2.0.0.ebuild qmerge you should be able to merge the already finished build to the file system. Though have a look at "man ebuild" I'm not 100% sure I remember that line correctly... Ah, neat, thanks a lot, that saved a few hours of compiling, although I had to: FEATURES="noauto" ebuild /usr/portage/app-office/openoffice/openoffice-2.0.0.ebuild install qmerge oowriter2 just started nicely, thanks for the package! |
