No, it has nothing to do with bug #109974, which is just about dependancies. Yours is a problem with gtkdoc. A quick and dirty fix would be to 'USE="-doc" emerge -av cairo' while this issue with gtkdoc isn't solved. Have you tried to upgrade to dev-libs/libxslt-1.1.15? emerge x11-libs/cairo-1.0.2 fails to emerge because of a HUGE string of XPath errors. I believe there is another bug on this site that may be associated with it (109974) but there isn't enough information in that bug report for me to tell. Anyways, I am including the text of the errors in the Actual Results section. Be forewarned; this is a huge entry!
