blackshades-bin is installed in the bin directory because it's a bin and you can run it however you like. It only does things if it finds the right data files but maybe you have your set you'd like to use and because it's installed, you can do that. Putting the binary in /usr/share doesn't make any sense since it's not a "shareable" file. The point of the wrapper is that the user has an expected way of running the game available to them. If you remerge from a recent portage sync, you'll even get a desktop entry. Wheee. WONTFIX. |
