Just FYI - VMware Player comes with Workstation v5.5... it's been released as a stand-alone free-as-a-beer application, see http://www.vmware.com/download/player *** Bug 110027 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 110027 *** Created attachment 71341 [details]

What I am not sure is that it can be downloaded direcly from portage and I
don't make the ebuild compatible to have vmware-workstation that is why I don't
allow it in dependences. By other hand is quite stupid to have vmplayer and
vmware.
