Code Listing 5: yaboot.conf for PReP hardware lists kernel as
image=/boot/vmlinux but earler in the docs it's listed as "kernel-$version" when
you manually should copy it to boot.. a slight inconsistency.

Code Listing 5 at given URL is "Invoking menuconfig".
Can't find "image=/boot/vmlinux" in the PPC docs.

I guessed it's been fixed. Please reopen if not.
