Description Rick Morra 2005-10-16 10:28:53 UTC
After updating sys-fs/udev from version 068-r1 to 070 (and rebooting), I started
receiving error messages from udevd every time I mount or unmount a volume:
udevd[271]: get_netlink_msg: no ACTION in payload found, skip event 'mount\'.

Except for message logging, I am using the Gentoo supplied udev.conf and rules.
I see no ill effects, but these messages are new to version 070.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set udev_log="yes" in /etc/udev/udev.conf
2. Mount or unmount any local volume
3.

Actual Results:
Received a error message from udevd

This isn't a bug, you are just seeing debug messages (which you asked to see
in your config file.)
Comment 2 Rick Morra 2005-10-25 16:59:34 UTC
Just seemed strange that a message with a priority of error would show up in the
new release when no discernable error occurs.
