*** Bug 109488 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Are there significant differences between the last release and CVS? Also do you know if upstream is planning a release any time soon? Please provide the information asked for in comment #2 See here: http://savannah.nongnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/ratpoison/ratpoison/NEWS The new redo command is probably what's lacking most on -beta4. I don't think that it matters much whether or not a new version will be released soon. It wouldn't at least dismiss my wish for a cvs ebuild, just dampen. Howsoever, I asked the upstream maintainer the question, an answer is still pending. I'll provide you the answer once I've got it. Typically if upstream is semi-active, we don't make a CVS version of a package. Let me know what you find out from upstream. |
