patch to ebuild to create a desktop entry
well, i have a lot of games that i need to add (about 5 or 6 more). so i guess i should wait for someone to answer your question? or should i continue with the bug reports? (In reply to comment #1) > heh ... i have a suggestion ... let's create a metabug like > "not all games for X have a desktop entry" > .... would this be fine ? ( question for developers ) let's just wait for answer for some time :) as for this bug it would be nice to have something like
make_desktop_entry glob2 "Globulation 2"
"${GAMES_DATADIR}/${PN}/data/gfx/ressource6.png"
No, not interested in a meta bug about desktop files. Also, not very interested in a bunch of bugs about random games missing desktop entries. If there's one of your favorite games that is missing a desktop file, go ahead and file an enhancement bug about it, but carpet bombing bugzilla with all the games missing desktop entries isn't what we're looking for. allright. sorry for any inconvenience caused. however theres one more game that i would like to file a bug for; would that be ok? fixed in CVS. re: the icon, we don't just pick what we like for icons generally. Since upstream doesn't include an icon in the release, there is a menu entry but no icon. When they do include an icon in their release, we'll use that. Thanks for the bug report. here are the icons.... http://www.wam.umd.edu/~rostovts/glob2/ |
