I did not strip the executable, but there should not be harm in doing so.
We are a source based distro - why haven't you made an ebuild using the source so that it can be used on the many other architectures available? A new source ebuild for engauge 3.0
Builds fine on x86 and creates a gnome/kde desktop entry.
