The current ebuilds for libgnome-java always builds and installs javadocs. Ideally, this should be dependent on the doc USE flag. I'd venture a guess that the other java-gnome packages do the same. I just released java-gnome 2.12.1 (see http://research.operationaldynamics.com/blogs/andrew/software/java-gnome/java-gnome-2.12.1-release.html blog entry) I have accordingly updated the java-gnome ebuilds I maintain for 2.12.1 . New tarball now at http://research.operationaldynamics.com/linux/gentoo/java-gnome-2.12.1_ebuilds.tar.gz , md5sum 90b8c26b1b7248ddd192da7fc6de9e55. AfC Minor update to that tarball, fixing some dependencies. New md5sum 62fee1a6bd3c2c15f068f69fac099f3b As for the request at #1, that shouldn't be too hard. Many of the packages have a --without-javadocs configure flag now, though I'll have to check glib-java and cairo-java. AfC Thanks for providing these ebuilds. I've added them to the experimental overlay. Note: glib-java and cairo-java weren't in the tarball, but I was able to get them off your site. Oops. Thanks for that Josh. I updated the tarball to include the glib-java and cairo-java ebuilds. md5sum now 05fdc7b5060539d8ccd079b33348b50b - though this will obviously be deprecated once you get a chance to move them into Portage proper, I tend to keep them posted for reference. AfC These packages are in portage with p.mask. |
