Did you have both openmotif and lesstif installed at the same time? No I did not. For some reason OpenMotif was causing Mozilla to crash when trying to visit Java sites so I removed it. I removed it way before installing Opera 6.03 and lesstif. When I upgraded to Opera 6.1 I could open Java sites but I had gray boxes in the place where the java applets should have been. Figuring it might be lesstif, I removed it and everything started working again. I actually do not have either motif installed at the moment. i'm trying to clean up the motif situation ... #29388 can you still reproduce that? opera needs lesstif, as long as you can't reproduce that... |
