Is it in upstream CVS? I think what the xorg developer said on the list answers your question: "The fix just worksaround/masks the real problem, so I'm not committing that just yet." http://lists.freedesktop.org/pipermail/xorg/2005-July/008735.html Honestly, I don't care about what the real problem is as long as it WORKS. OK, it should be easy enough for you to create an overlay and add that patch. Just stick it into files/ and add a line right around the current epatch that says 'epatch ${FILESDIR}/patchname' We're not interested in adding workarounds either rather than real fixes. But I will leave this bug open, pending a real fix. Please reopen if a real fix appears. *** Bug 109102 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 109406 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
