Houdini is a a high-end 3d VFX application suite.
Without a commercial license Houdini runs in 'apprentice' mode which allows to
try out all features and learn the program.

This ebuild was created & is used at Rising Sun Pictures, Australia. We use
Houdini among other packages to do VFX work, currently for "Superman Returns"
and "Charlotte's Web".
