1.03-r16 qmail-showctl

Description Sergej Pisarenko 2005-09-27 09:53:27 UTC
I recently have set up mail server using qmail guide on gentoo.org page.
IMAP&POP3 works smoothly while when I try to send an email using SMTP my client
reports this: Connection to host broken (last commands sent were: "EHLO [84.237.
128.183]", "MAIL FROM: <support@mymailserver.com> SIZE=530").

Email client is set to STARTTLS port 25 with secure authentication. It seems it
can connect and get certificate but further it does not work.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow all steps in guide
2. Try to send an email
Actual Results:
Connection to host broken (last commands sent were: "EHLO [84.237.128.183]",
"MAIL FROM: <support@mymailserver.com> SIZE=530").

Expected Results:
Sent email to requested host.

I have installed all necessary packages.

I looked through client's log and found this, seems problems with auth
mechanism, now what?
