Description Nathaniel Taylor 2005-09-27 08:55:06 UTC
In scilab 3.1.1-r1 the English documentation index
($SCILABPATH/man/eng/contents.htm) has come out with all
the links to particular command's pages being just HREF="/name.html"
instead of either a relative link HREF="section/name.html"
or absolute link based on installation directory.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
I have installed on several systems, all with the same result.
Just open scilab, open the help browser, click "index" then try
to follow any of the many links on that page.

Actual Results:
"Eeek!Could not locate help documentation"

Expected Results:
Display the relevant page.

The index works fine here using sci-mathematics/scilab-3.1.1-r3.
Could you please let us know if you still have this particular problem
with the latest -r3!?

Thanks,
Markus
Comment 2 Markus Dittrich (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-02 05:36:51 UTC
The index works fine for me in the latest available scilab
version in portage (scilab-4.0). Please re-open this bug if
you still experience this problem with scilab-4.0.

Thanks,
Markus
