my submitter
It copies the torrent (which is assumed to already exist on your computer..
firefox, for example, dumps them in /tmp before running them), strips strange
(non-alphanumeric) characters from the filename (instead of uri_escaping it),
and "wget --spider -q"s it to a running mldonkey.
the user/passwd/server/port information is taken from /etc/conf.d/mldonkey
Please ask for such an enhancement upstream. Created attachment 70516 [details]
updated submitter
This updated submitter accepts both local torrent files (firefox dumps them in
/tmp), and ed2k links. It also prompts the user if/when the torrent/link is
submitted via either echo or xmessage, depending on whether a console exists.
So, if submitting via firefox, the user gets a nice xmessage prompt to confirm
submission.
I'm reopening the bug, since i haven't gotten any response for an upstream from
the net-p2p herd, or the mldonkey maintainers =\
btw, just a reminder, to use this script to handle ed2k links in firefox, the
user will have to add the following user prefs:
user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.ed2k",
"/path/to/mldonkey_submit_dllink");
user_pref("network.protocol-handler.external.ed2k", true);
user_pref("network.protocol-handler.warn-external.ed2k", false);
Reopening. (In reply to comment #3) > I'm reopening the bug, since i haven't gotten any response for an upstream from > the net-p2p herd, or the mldonkey maintainers =\ Huh? Please, request features upstream, i.e. - http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?group=mldonkey |
