Shouldn't you give the ebuild maintainers some more time before you ask for a version bump? Imagine the rough majority of them beeing interessted in the progs themselves and reading the MLs on a regular basis - in all this cases the bugger entries appearing some minutes after a new release is just a waste of time (the ebuild writers and yours). Some poor bug wrangler have to manage all this useless entries instead of doing something more usefull or playing with there childs. Please remember this the next time. And please: this is nothing against you in personal - some time ago I did this stupid entries myself ;-) It was just that I read the digikam ML and had that "I bet somebody allready questioned an ebuild for this". Of cause I am also interessted in one but we should take it as a nettiqette to only write version bump requests after one week or so. Just my two cents. ok, you are right. I'm quite sorry for this. Thanks! in cvs Is there a reason why the libkipi ebuild wasn't updated along with the rest of the packages? Take a second look, it has been updated. libkipi hadn't been bumped - checked in CVS. I have bumped it now though. Uh, sorry - apparenty I did all, but the commit :( |
