Yes, it works fine here. Yes, it is still early in development, and a few features is missing - which is why its still package.mask'd. Yes, you should try to provide some more details. What i want, is: 1) Versions of following installed: dev-libs/glib x11-libs/gtk+ gnome-base/libglade x11-libs/pango dev-libs/libxml2 x11-libs/cairo media-libs/taglib sys-apps/dbus media-libs/xine-lib virtual/fam (either fam or gamin, and if fam, is the daemon running) 2) Remerge with: CFLAGS=-ggdb FEATURES="nostrip debug" USE=debug emerge bmpx And provide a gdb backtrace. No feedback. My apologies. Subsequent versions seemed to play audio files on my system. So I guess it works now (though I can honestly say that I am no longer interested in the software :-|) |
