Description Andy Wang 2005-09-20 13:57:04 UTC
The gentoo-webroot-default package that went stable with the recent apache stuff
overwrote my index.html file. I don't have it backed up (and it's really a very
very simple file so it's not a big deal), but I thought this might be a bad
thing for people who run relatively complex web sites on their default host.

Shouldn't /var/www/localhost/htdocs/* be conf protected? It doesn't seem like a
good thing to overwrite someone's contents during an update. With the old
apache ebuild, it used the internationalized index.html files, so a static
index.html file wasn't impacted during updates, but it is now.
