I have not tried to build it again because of the time (~ 8h.). I have used this
USE flags:

emerge -pv openoffice-ximian

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Seems like a library in your kde-setup is missing, could you do

equery f kdelibs | grep libkdeui

and provide the output
Comment 2 Alex 2005-09-18 08:46:29 UTC
equery f kdelibs | grep libkdeui
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/libkdeui.la
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/libkdeui.so -> libkdeui.so.4.2.0
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/libkdeui.so.4 -> libkdeui.so.4.2.0
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/libkdeui.so.4.2.0

I don't know if I need any more kdelibs to build it. I have only installed some
packages of KDE, not the full KDE.
Comment 3 Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-18 10:07:59 UTC
Actually just having kdelibs installed should be sufficient, also it looks the
required library is there. So most likely either your hard disk filled up during
compile (you need 4-6 Gigs to build OOo) or there is a problem with your kde setup.
Comment 4 Alex 2005-09-19 10:46:17 UTC
I had 7,6 GB before emerging it, I don't think that was the problem. I'll try to
build without the kde USE flag.
Comment 5 Alex 2005-09-21 06:29:29 UTC
No problems without kde USE flag. It must be a problem with KDE libs...
Comment 6 Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-23 02:05:25 UTC
You could try again after rebuilding kdelibs, to see if that helps. Really looks
like a local problem.

OK, closing this, please reopen if you get this bug again
