Same here. Placing a "<x11-libs/qt-3.3.5" entry in /etc/portage/package.mask shows the kdelibs-3.4.2-r1 is the culprit. The only reference to qt in its ebuild is "RDEPEND="$(qt_min_version 3.3.3 ...", which 3.3.5 should satisfy.
