Description Perry Lu 2005-09-16 14:01:04 UTC
in a telnet session with a MUD server using gnome-terminal, I discovered ANSI
escape sequences ESC[s ESC[u in the output of the server do not save/restore the
cursor position as they should, intead, I'm seeing "[s" and "[u" output to my
screen. However, all other ANSI escape sequences such as color and other cursor
movement works fine. I'm experiencing this on both gnome-terminal 2.10 and 2.12.

they work perfectly on xterm.

Perry,

Can you still reproduce this bug with newer versions of gnome-terminal ? If you can, don't hesitate to reopen this bug.

Maybe gnome's bugzilla has a similar bug to yours.

Thanks
