Description Wiebe Cazemier 2005-09-06 06:55:46 UTC
When I upgraded Udev from 058 to 068, emerge told me that the devfs name-style
is now gone. Since then, running hdparm with

all_args="-d1 -u0"

as only argument in /etc/conf.d/hdparm only runs on /dev/hda, and not on both my
cdrom drives, as it used to.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use udev version which doesn't have devfs name-styles.
2. Run udevstart or reboot.
3. Run /etc/init.d/hdparm.
Actual Results:
hdparm got run on /dev/hda.

Expected Results:
Run hdparm on both /dev/hda and /dev/cdrom*
