the sensors modules are mergen into /lib/modules/foo or into /lib/modules/kernel_version/foo? merged even ;) /lib/modules/kernel_version/foo Please, try w/ 2.2.9-r1 and report back. I tried it with the only other kernel I have available 2.6.12-gentoo-r9 & the same bug occurs, ie no sensor lines in the display; however, when I return to my usual kernel 2.6.14-gentoo , the display is there. I did not try restoring it to 2.6.12 using the Gkrellm config manager, so I didn't do a complete test of all steps. I am using Gkrellm 2.2.9-r1 & KDE 3.5.4 . I am just about to catch up with modular X , after which I shall also compile the latest kernel, presumably 2.6.17-something. After that, I will try testing again a bit more thoro'ly. I've installed kernel 2.6.18 & the sensor display still appears as usual, so the problem seems to have been fixed somewhere since 2.6.12 or in the latest Gkrellm 2.2.9-r1 . |
