Hi,

I just tried to install kooka-3.4.1 on a fresh partition, but it fails, because
it cannot find tiff.h. output follows. this in ppc64, but I suppose this happens
on other archs, too?

when having tiff installed this compiles just fine by the way. ;-)

the configure looks like it checks for the presence of tiff before compiling.  are you sure you didn't have a 
partial libtiff sitting around somewhere?

Seems like something else checks for tiff, but kooka simply wants it, the 
includes are not protected by anything.
