The output of emerge gconf
*** Bug 106235 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The same thing happened to me. I initially did a GRP install, so that I could have a nice usable system while I compiled everything. You need to run fix_libtool_files.sh with the appropriate arguments for anything that uses libstdc++ (kde), but for this issue: re-emerge dev-libs/libIDL (and possibly gnome-base/orbit) I fixed the problem, but this requires a reinstall :S What I did was, as I said, reinstall Gentoo, but this time around, I used the manual online instead of the one in the CD. Second, I didn't use the packages CD. Although it took me more than 12 hours to compile Gnome, it worked. user resolved issue Thanks Ben. re-emerging libIDL worked perfectly. I did just as you did, using GRP to get things started, then I started upgrading. |
