I found this while poking around xorg's wikki http://wiki.x.org/wiki/X11R7and69TODO the last item on this "to do" list for the 7.0 release says "lib/drivers: add XvMC client side libraries for via and i810" Maybe thats why the via_drmclient.h header is missing? Kind of a bummer if thats the hold up, because I don't think my via chip the KM400 even supports in hardware hardware XvMC decoding. No, the missing file was probably just a mistake when making the modular tree. The file is there now, I just need to make a new snapshot. Sorry for the wait. The driver is not in a buildable state upstream. Unfortunately the best you can do is stick with your current driver. I plan to check on this once in awhile to see when it's fixed. I'll mark this as upstream since we can't do anything right now. I'm sure they're very aware of the issue. Thanks for your help testing. |
