i was required to ln -s lqt quicktime in /usr/include to get transcode to emerge
properly. i found the fix at
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=7990448&forum_id=5545.
transcode emerge gave an error about not being able to find quicktime/lqt.h
before  making the symlink. i'm sure there must be a way to fix this in the
ebuild or something somewhere so that i don't have to manually make the link ?

emerge transcode
Actual Results:  
fails during configure looking for lqt.h

Expected Results:  
succesful emerge
