Add all dependencies to RDEPEND, add G2CONF, DOCS, add e-d-s USE dep.
0.8.3 is now at http://svn.breakmygentoo.org/bmg-main/gnome-extra/deskbar-applet/ - their ebuild is mostly OK apart from missing DOCS, so I will not continue to update this bug. Version 0.8.5 is out (http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php?soft_id=780) This applet probably will go into GNOME 2.14, so it's better put it into portage before GNOME 2.14. Whose decision is it whether deskbar is part of the gnome metabuild or not? Deskbar IS part of GNOME 2.14 (http://www.gnome.org/start/2.14/notes/en/rnusers.html), so it should be installed with the gnome-base/gnome-2.14.0 ebuild. But it should be possible install it without all the GNOME 2.14 stuff, simply on the actually stable GNOME 2.12 (see http://raphael.slinckx.net/deskbar/index.php#requirements).
