sorry, same mistake as #103590 - didn't check in all files :( *** Bug 103742 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** the i18n patch is a PITA. we need to think about how we handle this in future. we should also update the rest of the gentoo utf-8 docs on howto enable utf-8 python so we can rely on it. unfortunately i have no idea which packages are affected when we set dev-python to utf-8? The bug is closed, but zope still isn't building. Have you pushed your changes up to portage? I synced just this morning and I still have nothing. it builds fine for me - can someone confirm wether there are still problems. (In reply to comment #5) > it builds fine for me - can someone confirm wether there are still problems. Yes, still the problem. Patch command is still epatch ${FILESDIR}/2.7.6/i18n-1.0.0.patch more appropriate will be epatch ${FILESDIR}/${PV}/i18n-1.0.0.patch patch is the same, so it fails. o.k. - after cleaning up my machine i can confirm that the i18n patch doesn't work with zope-2.8.1 what does that mean? e.g. no german umlaute in structured text. the rest should work as usual |
