Dear Gentoo Dev.,
   This is to request that National Center for High-performance Computing(NCHC) 
to become a Gentoo Mirror site at Taiwan.
   More detail infomation please visit our site: http://www.twaren.net/english/
   We have highly confidence that we can operate and support the mirror site 
very well. I sincerely hope this establishment of the mirror site can lead us 
to a long-term collaboration.
   I would greatly appreciate your kind consideration on this matter in advance.

I just checked the mirror this morning and it seems it is off by a few days on
syncing.

Get that syncing every 4 hours starting with your local midnight, with another
gentoo mirror and I can add you to our mirror listing. Thanks!

I have setup gentoo-portage syncing every 4 hours from rsync.gentoo.org and please check it again.

May I sync from Tier-1 rsync server ?

For a distfiles mirror, you should NOT be syncing to rsync.gentoo.org every 4 hours. (This will indeed get you banned for syncing too often) You should be syncing to a distfiles mirror listed on our download mirrors page.

Sorry, my mistake.
Now, I sync "gentoo-portage" from rsync.gentoo.org every 30 minutes and "distfiles" from distro.ibiblio.org every 4 hours.
Please check it again and add our site to download mirrors page. Thanks !
PS. May I have rsync6.tw.gentoo.org name resolve ? :-)
