Description Sebastian Dröge 2002-11-06 08:42:19 UTC
Hi
I've attached an ebuild for vorbisgain, which I think belongs into media-sound ;)

vorbisgain is a tool to calculate a perceived sound level for an Ogg Vorbis file
or a complete album using the ReplayGain algorithm. The calculated information
is stored in the vorbiscomment header and can be used by Ogg Vorbis players
supporting ReplayGain such as the coming xmms 1.2.8
All files processed by vorbisgain sound equally loud when the player supports it

Bye

Builds fine but there don't appear to be a players to support ReplayGain. I'm happy to check it in if there is some way i can test.

(http://www.xmms.org/next_version.html indicates that replaygain will be supported in the "next version" but gives no indication as to what or when that might be.)

Looking more closely ;-) This isn't the plugin, it generates the peak files data.

Commited masked (~x86) can be moved to stable when xmms supports ReplayGain.
