Bug 102572 – baselayout-1.12.0-pre5 breaks wpa wireless dhcp

After updating baselayout and restarting my IBM-t40, the ipw2200 fails to get an
ip via dhcpcd when net.eth1 starts. After starting wpa_supplicant it times out
waiting for an IP address and the net.eth1 fails to start. The only work around
I have found is the start wpa_cli while net.eth1 is waiting for an IP address.
The status command shows that it has successfully authenicated with the AP. I
then run dhcpcd eth1 and immediately receive IP.  I also receive an error when
starting net.eth0 as follows:

Starting eth0
 *   Bringing up eth0
 *     dhcp
 *     No loaded modules provide "dhcp" (dhcp_start)                      [ !! ]

There is no cable in eth0.

I am running udev-067, ipw2200-1.06 and ipw2200-firmware-2.3

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results:  
Times out waiting for dchpcd to get an IP address after wpa_supplicant start and
authenicates to the AP. It then fails to start causing all net dependents to
fail to start.

Expected Results:  
net.eth1 should start

Please ensure that you have dhcpcd-1.3.22_p4-r12 or higher installed.

Updating to dhcpcd-2.0 fixes it.

Maybe you should do something to ensure that that version is installed ?
RDEPEND might not really work here...
