Description Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2005-08-12 07:59:24 UTC
There's a new version of libevent (1.1a). Latest versions of tor says this:

Aug 12 16:54:55.198 [notice] Initialized libevent version 1.0e using method
epoll
Aug 12 16:54:55.198 [warn] There are minor bugs in using epoll with libevent
1.0e. You may want to use the latest version of libevent.
[ ok ]

Please at least look in portage before filing bugs. This is something I'd
expect from a user, but not from a dev. 1.1a has been in portage for almost 2
months.
Comment 2 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2005-08-13 08:16:53 UTC
Sorry, failed to see that, but as the new tor, which is a security-update,
suggests libevent-1.1 (doesn't require), we should probably try to get
libevent-1.1a marked stable on all archs.
Comment 3 Aaron Walker (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-13 09:58:43 UTC
stable on x86, sparc. You'll have to bug the other archs relevant to your package.
