I think you should take a look to my >mldonkey-2.6.0 ebuild See here for more details http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84100#c35 My ebuild make a better and cleaner, imho, doc and bin installation accordingly with mldonkey documentation Your ebuild doesn't implement gui flags mutual exclusion, doc flag and some other little things like the "guionly" useflag that I've described here http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89220 that imho are very useful Created attachment 65820 [details]

Thx to Frittella Laurento I changed the ebuild to use the new useflag. Please
test this if you use the gui.
Created attachment 66021 [details] mldonkey-2.6.2.ebuild changes to ebuild: - added mozilla use flag and installing ed2k handler for mozilla/firefox from http://www.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de/~dyna/mldonkey - I tried to install xpi through command line, but witout effect - for now ebuild is only downloading and installing file in share dir - added make utils and installing utils in src_install - move autoconf to src_compile - it's building process, not unpacking, right? - installing of desktop file, when one of the gui's flag is used (png icon os in sources dir, but desktop file dissapeared - in next post you can see proposal one) BTW. Bumped in portage, thanks for help. there's a typo in the 2.6.2 ebuild, line 147 (in the xpi "installation" section
=) .. a directory called {PN} is actually being created in /usr/share =| .. not
good =) .... i'm assuming future ebuilds will have to clean it up? i wonder.

attached ebuild have fix for this
more: usage of domenu and doicon to handle installation of desktop file and
pixmap
hope that even this bug is resolved, soemone will see this.

MLDonkey 2.6.3 was released today. The patch from http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100120 is included in that release. |
