Thank you for reporting this issue. I've committed a revised ebuild, but didn't
bump its revision number since it doesn't affect people who have emerged gdm
successfully.

Please be sure to re-sync your portage tree later, try to emerge gdm again and
let us know the result.

No reply. However, it should be resolved by now.
