try the other versions of ntp in portage starting with 4.2.0.20050303 what is the order anyway? 20050303 and then -r2 or is 20050303 the newest? last i checked 20050303 > 20040617 I updated to 20050303 still does not work TCPDump shows: 10:06:54.968467 IP 10.1.1.1.123 > 224.0.1.1.123: NTPv4 bcast, strat 4, poll 6, prec -20 10:06:55.300424 IP 10.1.1.5.123 > 10.1.1.1.123: NTPv4 client, strat 0, poll 6, prec -20 10:06:55.300561 IP 10.1.1.1.123 > 10.1.1.5.123: NTPv4 server, strat 4, poll 6, prec -20 in a repeating pattern ntpdc -s shows remote local st poll reach delay offset disp =============================================================== ======== *crom.netage.de 10.1.1.5 4 64 77 0.00027 -0.005249 0.66238 On the other systems the local entry is 224.0.1.1 can you file a bug upstream please ? https://ntp.isc.org/bugs/index.cgi |
