Thanks for all your work. Any reason in the new patch you submitted to not use "-o root" like the previous patch does? I just came across the new package by mistake on my RHEL vericept box; there wasnt any RPM so I downloaded the source and installed it manually so I could monitor my T lines with it. As far as the patch I just tried to keep it as close to the original as possible; I figured the devs could change any ownership or perm issues. Bumped in cvs. I e-mailed upstream and found out that they actually made a symlink from 5.2.1 to 4.0 when the new version was released because of broken links. I also realized that the current ebuild passes --enable-ipv6 to the configure script, which does not exist in the configure script. Thanks for reporting! Any idea how to fix this when building against slang? getkey.c: In function `init_edit_string': getkey.c:517: warning: passing arg 2 of `SLcurses_waddnstr' discards qualifiers from pointer target type. When I build against slang its output doesnt have the color features like with ncurses; thats why I took the slang keyword out of my ebuild. I am sorry, I haven't the slighest idea. You may want to ask upstream on this one. |
