Are those instructions really *that* hard to follow? If mailbase doesn't need this file, then mail base *must* not provide this file. If mailbase need this file, and uw-imap can use this file, and depends on it, then uw-imap *must* not provide this file. If mailbase need this file, and uw-imap need another content of this file, then file provided by uw-imap must be named as uw-pop or smth. This isn't *hard*, but this is uncomfortable. If I like unconfortable way, then I chose linux from scratch. This thing must be done on every system, have same situation. And can be done autoaticaly, ant this is oposide to emerge -u world, which can be done automaticaly, without user help. This bug is INVALID and moreover DUPLICATE of at least 10 other identical bugs = search first. Definitely nothing will change here, closing again. Don't reopen, please. CLOSED. |
