long system updates with -uD world are often done automatically or when the user
has left his PC.
Many ebuilds give out messages after the emerge (like: "you must run
revdep-rebuild, change this config such etc.)

It would be good when portage, after an long emerge of many ebuilds, gives, when
a package made such a command, the followung output:

::::there were some messages during emerge:
Packagename1
Message: you should run revdep-rebuild
Packagename2
Message: you should update your config1
