For new installations:
- create empty ${MY_INSTALLDIR}/.htaccess
and
${MY_INSTALLDIR}/config.php

and chown them to ${VHOST_SERVER_GID}:${VHOST_SERVER_UID}

Then point your browser to http://yourhost/gallery/setup/
and follow the instructions.
