You need Cabal-1.0.1 or better to install c2hs 0.14.1.

c2hs-0.14.3 ebuild

Hi, this is an ebuild for C->Haskell 0.14.3.  I've tested it with ghc-6.4.1
(from portage) and it seems to work.

I appended a line to 'c2hs.cabal' to make it compile, and installed some of the
docs.

Most packages that use cabal are already in the darcs managed overlay at
"http://haskell.org/~gentoo/gentoo-haskell/portage/". The ebuild
there(http://haskell.org/~gentoo/gentoo-haskell/portage/dev-haskell/c2hs/c2hs-0.14.3.ebuild)
is a bit cleaner, because it makes use of the new cabal eclass. As soon as the
improvements are stable, all the packages in the overlay will (hopefully) be
merged into portage.

We've got an ebuild for c2hs 0.14.3 in the overlay and it will be moved to the
portage tree in due time.
