Description Marcin Kurek 2005-06-12 03:19:48 UTC
When upgrading to kde 3.4.1 I was hit by a strange problem. it seems kdevelop
(3.2.1) failed to compile on my system and throws this kind of error on emerge:

========
make[4]: Entering directory `/var/portage/kdevelop-3.2.1/work/kdevelop-3.2.1/
parts/appwizard/common'
gnutar -cf gnu.tar -C ./gnu AUTHORS  COPYING \
        ChangeLog  INSTALL  NEWS  README  TODO
gnutar: Will not overwrite non empty plain files in compat mode.
make[4]: *** [gnu.tar.gz] Error 255
make[4]: Leaving directory `/var/portage/kdevelop-3.2.1/work/kdevelop-3.2.1/
parts/appwizard/common'
========

I give also a try to the 3.2.0 with identical results.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge kdevelop
2.
3.

Do you have app-arch/star installed?
