On amy Asus V6V laptop I have installed KDE 3.4.0 (~x86).
Each while and then I get an OSD (similar to the one I get to change the LCD
brightness) saying "Display changed: LCD off". Nothing gets actually done (the
LCD stays on!). But it is an annoying problem. The problems seems to be in the
file kdeutils/kmilo/asus/asus.cpp.
Gnome doesn't show this behaviour, so I argue is KDE specific.
