"Apache Addressing is an implementation of the Web Services Addressing (WS-Addressing), published by the IBM, Microsoft and BEA as a joint specification, on top of Apache Axis (The Next Generation SOAP)." apache-addressing is a dependency of jboss-4.0.2. There isn't an official release yet, but it is available via cvs. jboss provides a little information: "NAME: Addressing VERSION: CVS build from 7/19/04 PROJECT: http://ws.apache.org/ws-fx/addressing/ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.apache.org:/home/cvspublic login press [return] when prompted for password cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.apache.org:/home/cvspublic co ws-fx/addressin g/ PURPOSE: This is the Web Service Addressing implementation used by JBoss.Net This CVS build will be replaced by an official build when one becomes available"
I added the ebuild into overlay: http://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/java/migrated-java-experimental-overlay/dev-java/apache-addressing/ It depends on >=axis-1.2.1 which is not in tree nor overlay atm but it seems to build with axis-1.4. Needs to be tested once >=axis-1.2.1 is in the tree or overlay.
Just to prevent any duplicated work, I am just working on axis-1.4 :)
Axis is here for now: https://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/java/migrated-java-experimental-overlay/www-servers/axis/
This ebuild request has been reported in 2006 (!). Do we still want it added to the tree ? If someone does, please comment. Otherwise I will close this bug.
HOMEPAGE dead. I'm cleaning the ebuild from the Java overlay and closing this bug while at it. git commit bit: [master a2a420b] apache-addressing: This ebuild never made it into the main tree + HOMEPAGE dead. Removing it.
