Description Lorenzo Hernández García-Hierro 2005-05-25 15:13:07 UTC
Hi,

As part of the on going effort for introducing SELinux into Gentoo desktops, we need to have a media-video/mplayer,media-video/kmplayer SELinux policy ebuild.

Such ebuild is currently maintained at:
http://cvs.tuxedo-es.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/gentoo_sec-policy/mplayer/

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Lorenzo.

From all I can tell, executable stack is currently only needed because the
compile tries to be more intelligent than it can be...
See here: http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-dev-eng/2005-May/034796.html for
a patch that fixes that.
Comment 3 Reimar Döffinger 2005-06-26 15:01:43 UTC
Update: I applied that patch some time ago, so future MPlayer versions should
not need executable stack.
