ftp.gwdg.de seems to mirror distfiles/releases/snapshots, it is also available via rsync. At first glance it looks like a daily update. I'm not associated with the GWDG, which is kinda the computing center for our university here among other things, but I know people there if a contact is needed.
Matthias, Sorry about the long delay. I cant add a mirror on if the filer isnt the actual contact. Have someone from their organization sign up for our bugzilla and add themselves on as a CC with some information about the mirror and I can see about getting it added. -Jeffrey
